GRAINTABLE
Stemming from the glitch/hip hop atmosphere of Portland OR, Graintable is this week's THiCK ARTiST. He uses fast paced MPC-style sampling to create downtempo, melodic glitchy bass bangers. Since emerging on the scene in 2008, Graintable has received outstanding reviews from online blogs and magazines, and has shared the stage with artists such as Flying Lotus, Rusko, Megasoid, Lazer Sword, Ana Sia, and Alex B. Already commanding a large following on soundcloud, look for this up-and-coming artist to be playing big shows in the near future. Graintable is on the Portland-based label RunRiot Records, and many of his tracks and be downloaded free on their website. More acclaim:
